This week Google's documents and spreadsheets became subscription based, once they start understanding the regulatory nature of documents and spreadsheets and the legal discovery impact, they will add traditional categorization and records management concepts to apply principles around automated life cycle management, legal discovery, expiration of documents. They are really on the verge of becoming the holy grail of office automation and corporate governance, however they don't know it yet.
